A few words of encouragement
22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23
All too soon the semester comes to an end and we are all having some mixed feelings;
To some we never really got into the semester, the days just seem to fly by and it’s just been by God’s grace we are here today,
To others we started so brightly filled with so much energy only to grow weary, tired and a bit worn out as the days went by and the obstacles looked insurmountable,
And to others we’ve been able to achieve all our goals.
No matter the category you find yourself in, allow me to say ‘KUDOS’, you’ve done well and we thank God for all he’s done.
You may feel oh that’s not for me, but just a reminder; Even though you are not where you want to be, you are not where you used to be.
Trust me there are things we have learnt throughout this semester that will go on to shape us into who we will become one day. Be of good cheer!
Even though our decisions may have led us to where we are now, there’s good news; we are not too low or too high for God’s grace and mercy, in fact his grace and mercies are new every morning, fresh every day, great is his faithfulness.
Hey dear, step back, take a break and call on Jesus, He says we should come to Him and He will give you rest and teach you his ways. (Matthew 11:29)
The Grace of God is able to reach us no matter the situation we find ourselves in.
He takes us through the “storm” and when we look back all we do is sigh and say, “Ha! Has it not been the Lord on our side where will we have been?”
As Examinations approach…
Remember, ‘A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps’ (Proverbs 16:9).
Let the lord direct your step, Don’t think too much on what you can or cannot do but rather let’s focus and trust in God and in what He can do.
Our strength may fail us but God’s strength never fails.
Be encouraged dear ones, the Lord our God who brought us here, He who began with us even before the foundations of the earth, and still reigns and lives amongst us is faithful and just to bring us to a glorious end.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20)
All the best in your exams!
